Buffalo – Victor Olofsson He scored his second goal of the game with 19 seconds left in overtime to give the Buffalo Sabers a 6-5 victory over the Minnesota Wild at KeyBank Center on Saturday.
Olofsson scored from a cross from the ice Peyton Crips in the right circle.
“I think their guy kind of lost an advantage down the line and it was a 3-on-2 game,” Olofsson said. A wonderful play by Dahls. [Rasmus Dahlin] First to ‘Crispy’, then he made a nice pass to me.”

The goal came after Dahlin, who had two goals and three assists, tied it 5-5 at 17:36 of the third period with a shot from halfway through the wall. Dahlin’s five points are tied for the most by a defenseman in Buffalo history.
“My ride comes from my teammates,” he said. “Everyone wants to score, everyone wants to be the winner of the game. It’s easy to play and it’s easy to have that mentality when other people have it too.”

Cozens pushed it to 4-2 at 13:55 with a power play goal from the left circle.
“We talked about it with you here this morning about how good they are offensively in the league, and they’ve proven it,” Wild coach Dean Evason said. “I don’t know, maybe we wanted to prove how good we are, but that’s not who we are. We traded chances with them and in the end we burned it.”
Hartmann cut the score to 4-3 at 18:45, deflecting a Goudreaux cross from the air into the side of the net.
Marcus Foligno He scored 26 seconds into the third period to tie it at 4-4 when Erickson Eck redirected it off his skate at the edge of the crease.
Erickson then put Ike Wild up 5-4 in 7:48, scoring on the side of the gauntlet on the power play.
“This is not running [Fleury]Foligno said, “He played great, giving credit to this team.” We fought really hard, but I think the start of this game [was] A little sleepy on our part.
“I think we knew the attacking talent they had and the way they played. I think we could have done a better job at the beginning understanding the style of play, but they certainly swept us in and kept us on our heels, and it took us a while to get into our game. … Overall, You got a two-minute lead, you have to push yourself and you didn’t.
