In her office, Taylor tells Ridge on the phone that the situation with Bill and Sheila is under control. He shouldn’t come back to confront Bill because he’ll only scream and make the situation worse. Sheila appears and Taylor lets Ridge go. Sheila wanted to talk to her now that she knew they weren’t really that different. She hopes Taylor will find a way to accept the situation so they can all live in peace.
In Forrester Creations, Carter checks the building’s security with Charlie due to Ridge’s absence. Katie joins them as they contemplate Sheila’s risk of falling out.
At Il Giardino, Brooke pours over Deacon’s ravioli. Deacon tells her how much she means to him and Hope’s pride in him. “This is something I have been dreaming of for a very long time.” Brooke smiles. They talk about his pizza and she offers to try some again. Deacon comments on how great this is – two friends have a chip – he can talk to her about the restaurant and she can tell him how great her life is now that Ridge isn’t in it. He loved seeing the look on his face when she and Taylor dropped him. “Proud of you.” Brooke says they are also proud of themselves and want to set a good example for Hope, Steffy, Kelly and Beth. Another benefit no one expected, she said, “I found a new dear friend in Taylor.” The deacon laughs that hell has frozen over. It’s great – they have a lot in common and it’s not just Ridge, laughs Brock. She changes the subject to Deacon and asks if there was a woman in his life. Blinks to dance with Sheila. Brook could tell by the look on his face that someone was there.

At Forrester, Charlie storms out after explaining to a sober-faced Carter why he is called “Little Cheese”. And once Carter asked Katie if she was all right. She is not, and explains that she has found out more about how Bill blackmailed Stevie and Finn into keeping Sheila out of jail. Katie says it’s unbelievable and that she can’t sleep through the night. Carter assures her that she should not tell him. Katie thinks it is best that he not know her. Carter says it’s okay. His main concern is. Katie says he has gone to see Bill, who has hinted that he will end things with Sheila if she takes him back.

In Taylor’s office, she tells Sheila that she would love for them to live in peace and harmony, but the only way that will happen is when she is behind bars. They are over Sheila’s past transgressions and Sheila mentions Taylor that she shot Bill. She did not come to argue but to assure Taylor that she would not hurt her or anyone in the family. “I care about you.” taunts Taylor. Sheila reminds her, “I saved your life.” Taylor flashed to the rooftop scene. Sheila tells Taylor that she is a leader and the family will listen to her. She vows that she will not go anywhere. She understands how Taylor feels about shooting Belle and urges her to forgive herself. Taylor fumed at her to stop. “Stop what you’re doing.” She is right that she needs to forgive herself, but she will never forgive Sheila. Sheila came out. Taylor is in pain and crying.

At Forrester, Katie tells Carter that she saw a glimmer of hope in Bill’s eyes when he talked about them getting back together. Carter believes Sheila’s hold on him must not be as strong as they thought. He asks if she is sure she can’t go back to Bill. Katie is not the same woman he married. After everything that happened with Brooke, “I deserve better than that.” Looking at what he’s doing now, you don’t even recognize Bill anymore. Katie used to feel lucky to be with a guy like Bill, but now he’s literally bringing danger to her front door. Carter says, “Our front door. We’re in this together, remember?” Katie couldn’t go back to Bill after being with someone like Carter. She runs away from his good qualities and they kiss.

Carter leaves, slamming the office door, and Katie turns to find Sheila standing there. She said, “How did you get in here?!” Sheila reminds her that she is a free woman and says that she came to warn her that she needs to accept her relationship with Bill, “or else”.
Brock arrives at Taylor’s office with a pizza from Deacon’s and realizes it may not be the right time. Taylor admits that Sheila visited her. Brooke asks what on earth she was doing out there and if Taylor is okay. Her friend says she wanted peace and harmony and tried to tell her they were the same because they both shot someone. Taylor considers keeping it a secret so as not to tarnish her image. Brooke says she wasn’t the same. Taylor worries Sheila is right. “We are not different!” Brock tells Taylor to stop him. Sheila gets into people’s heads and makes them doubt themselves. She implores her to see that she is not like Sheila Carter. “You are amazing.” Brooke insists that Sheila is using her guilt as a weapon and she can’t let her do that. Taylor cracks. She breaks. Brooke rushed to hold her. “I’m here for you. Always. We’ll get through this, okay?” Taylor snorted and nodded.
