Alexander Skarsgard, Natasha Lyonne, Harrison Ford, Eddie Murphy, oh my! It’s totally refreshing that this week’s recommendations have such a stacked lineup of actors (and crews behind the camera). There’s a new Brandon Cronenberg feature Fresh from the Sundance premiereWhere is Skarsgård Wearing a dog collar and leash; The first TV series produced by Rian Johnson (Almost Fresh Yet glass oniondebuted on Netflix); Another Jennifer Lopez rom-com where she’s getting married. classic! Here are all of our picks:
the NC-17 cut shown at Sundance It won’t be the one you see in theaters this weekend (it does have a hard R rating, though), but it’s still guaranteed to be a nasty, blood-soaked energy trip through hell. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’m talking about a follow-up movie from director Brandon Cronenberg Owner. in infinity pooland stars Alexander Skarsgård and Mia Goth as a down-on-his-luck novelist and a rich fan named Gabe, respectively, as the two meet at a luxe resort in a fictional country where, if you’re rich enough, the penalty is imposed on your copy instead of you.
Unfortunately, despite the moderate bad reviews, I will give Every JLo rom-com chance. I’ve watched marry me And had fun! This is exactly what I plan to do gun weddingthe action comedy that had to replace Armie Hammer with Josh Duhamel (for many Reasons). in gun wedding, J.Lo and Duhamel are our bride and groom who invite their families – including Jennifer Coolidge as the mother of the groom – and guests to a destination wedding, only for it to be kidnapped by some criminals. The premise seems outrageous enough for me, at least, to press play.
with help blackish Content creator Kenya Barris, You people It is a comedy film about the mixing of two families, as the artist plans for Jonah Hill “Ezra” and “Princess of London” to marry. Eddie Murphy and Nia Long play Amira’s parents while Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Duchovny play Ezra’s parents. This kind of plot might have been done, but with a great cast like this, it’s well worth your time.
I, personally, would follow Hilary Duff to the ends of the earth (aka watch whatever she’s into). Maybe we didn’t get a file Lizzie McGuire Reboot – I’m still in mourning – BUT How did you meet your father? You’ll have to do it right now because there’s nothing more fun than watching Duff run around, date, make comical mistakes, and just have fun. How did you meet your father? It may swing most of the time, but from experience, it’s a great show to do while you and your friends are hanging out and sipping wine. For that, I’m grateful to you, Hilary Duff.
Coming from the silver screen to Peacock, Johnson debuted his own TV series Murder of the Week this month, helmed by Natasha Lyonne. Focusing more on Colombo than on Benoit Blanc, Leon plays Charlie Cale, a private detective with a knack for dispelling nonsense lies. Each episode will feature new guest stars, from recent Academy Award nominees Stephanie Hsu and Hong Zhao, to Dasha Polanco, Chloe Sevigny, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and more. The first four episodes are now live, and the other six episodes will be released weekly.
he shrank Hassan? Well, while watching it, I didn’t like it, but I never felt the need to turn it off. It has a cast that I really like, starting with Harrison Ford (Who is entitled to this?), along with Jason Segel and Jessica Williams — and she’s also really good at this one! It’s not perfect TV, and there are some inconvenient morals, but I’ve concluded that it’s just a nice back clock, which is always on hand.
