Both Glyph Technologies SecureDrive + Professional External SSD with Bluetooth and SecureDrive + Professional External Solid State Drive with Keyboard are designed to ensure that only you can access the information stored inside. This SSD uses several security features that prevent unauthorized access on both a digital and physical level.

With the Bluetooth version, you can access information stored via your iOS or Android device using TouchID, FaceID, and biometrics, ensuring that only you can access the stored data.

The keyboard version features an ergonomically designed keyboard that requires a user-generated PIN to access information and automatically erases all data after 10 incorrect attempts to keep the information secure.

Military-grade XTS-AES 256-bit encryption prevents hackers from accessing the information and is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated, ensuring information stays within the drive. Epoxy-coated internal components prevent physical access to the drive, adding another layer of physical security against brute force attempts.

Additional security features are included in SecureDrive+, such as automatic inactivity lock, read-only mode, limited access by one administrator, and one user mode. SecureDrive+ is also immune to bad USB, which prevents firmware updates.

The optional remote management software enables you to monitor and manage drive access to view users, enable geo- and time-fencing, and perform password resets remotely through a web portal.

Both drives feature a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, with read and write speeds of up to 360MB/s. It’s not fast, and you wouldn’t want to use it for most video editing apps, however, that’s not what it was designed for.

SecureDrive+ includes all necessary cables so you can take advantage of the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and Type-C ports. You can also use SecureDrive+ with systems with limited performance Thunderbolt 3 ports.
