Why does the jacksonville jaguars win the afc round
The firepower is there.
There is no questioning Jacksonville’s talent, skill bits, or training. When Trevor Lawrence and the offense roll, the show is as unstoppable as any in the NFL.
The problem is consistency – it isn’t there. However, as long as Lawrence can only get through the first quarter and – as Aaron Rodgers puts it – relax, keeping up with Chief’s highly capable machine shouldn’t be a problem.
For all the great things Kansas City does, they have a huge problem giving up touchdown passes, they allow a few too many yards, and if Lawrence can get a little time, he should kick off.
The O’s are great on third downs, Christian Kirk, Z Jones, Marvin Jones, Evan Ingram can make plays all over the court, and if Travis Etienne can add enough yards per carry, get ready for the show.
On the flip side, the Jaguars defense will give up passing, but that’s the cost of doing business. Patrick Mahomes will have no problems hitting 300 yards — the Jaguars hit for 331 in the 27-17 win in Week 10. It’s the running game that should be stuffed.
Kansas City is 1-2 on or under 75 yards running. The Jaguars defensive front is good enough to take the stretch – the team is 5-1 when it allows less than 75 yards, but…

Why the Kansas City Chiefs win the AFC round
Yes, that long-haired guy who puts it on the side needs a little time to work it out.
It’s not like Trevor Lawrence didn’t see it all at the collegiate level or in the early part of his NFL life, but he has to put together a solid, consistent, solid game to get it done, which he hasn’t done lately.
He shines in the comeback win over Dallas and in last week’s action thriller against the Chargers, finding his rhythm when he’s able to shoot without losing a beat. The problem is, he’s putting his team in a position to make a monster comeback.
He made Tennessee a lot harder to win than it should have been, he was so good at winning against the Jets, and the first half against L.A. was bad next level.
It’s up to Kansas City to get him to go with his first reading.
Lawrence’s five sacks in the first meeting were the most all year. Philadelphia has reached it four times, as has Indianapolis. There is a correlation here – Jacksonville is 2-6 when he gets sacked a few times. One of those wins was last week.
There’s that, and there’s the Jaguars’ inability to keep the defense off the field—the bottom third stops are non-existent. This is kind of a 15 v problem, and here’s why…

What will happen, who will win the jacksonville jaguars at kansas city chiefs ace fc role
Patrick Mahomes will be very good.
Jacksonville has the pop to go along with this fun fight – Trevor Lawrence will be fine as long as he can read things a little better – alternatively, a lot better – than he did against the Chargers.
Yes, the Chiefs need to run effectively enough as a base to prevent Jaguars linebackers from dropping back to tackle Travis Kelsey, but Mahomes will find his passing yards.
Kansas City is 8-0 when the lead man throws for 320 yards or more and 10-1 when he reaches 260 yards.
Jacksonville hasn’t been fumbled much, but they are 0-4 when they give up 300 yards.
You will give up 300 yards.
