3. Criminal Monk

Comedian based in Chicago Criminal Monk Coming to Milwaukee for the Laughing Tap weekend. Monk is best known for his role as Hassan on ABC’s “For Life”, DJ Dee Nuts on “Block Party” and Andy the Blegghead on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. His comedy is a mixture of family anecdotes and observations on society. Tickets are available Online.

5. MLK Jr. Freedom Bill Workshop

Saturday at 1 pm | 9175 North 76th Street.

This Saturday, Milwaukee FATE group (fashion, art and teen entertainment) hosts a Freedom Bell Workshop, where participants can make and paint a Liberty Bell to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. FATE’s mission is to provide an outlet for expression for the youth of Milwaukee through visual and performance art activities. All supplies and bags of assorted snacks are included in the $5 entrance fee.

6. Owl Goose: Family Journey

Saturday at 5:30 pm | Grant Park

Do you have a future ornithologist in the family? Join Wehr’s naturalist for an Owl Prowl outing this weekend in Grant Park. Hikers will walk in search of great and eastern horned screech owls while learning about the natural habitats and behaviors of native owls. Curious children will be guided through the anatomy of an owl pellet to discover what owls eat every day. Avid hikers can sign up for the family Online.

7. Milwaukee Vintage Style Society Snow Globe

The Milwaukee Vintage Style Society invites you to step back in time on Saturday snowball, hosted in Dandy. A password (which you get after registering) is required for an evening of “classic delight” featuring live music from Professor Pinkerton’s irreverent orchestra and classic cocktails. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite black tie/cocktail attire. Tickets are available Online.

8. Emmett James

Saturday at 7:30 pm | VAR gallery

Mixed media artist based in Milwaukee Emmett James He returns to Cream City for a stopover on his “Too Cold For Tour”. James’ music has a hip-hop meets jazz sound, and you can see his multimedia artistry in much of his merchandise – Including his mouth-watering chocolate molds and his trademark “drip and dip” coffee kits. 9. Show plant tropics train

Opens Saturday | Bishop Mitchell Park

Saturday Night Live alum David Spade is coming to Pabst Theatre To get rid of the Sunday scares with a comedy evening. The comedian has had a comedic work spanning several decades including several collaborations with Wisconsin native Chris Farley.
