Samsung Medison Presents Its AI Diagnostic Solutions At ISUOG 2022 World Conference

Samsung Medison, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, will participate in the ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology) World Congress 2022 to be held in London, UK from September 16 to September 18.

During this conference, Samsung will showcase the clinical values ​​and competencies of artificial intelligence (AI)-based diagnostic solutions through various scientific programs.

The Samsung Seminar will be held on September 18 at 12:35 PM and this event will also be held online under the theme “Samsung’s Advanced AI and Remote Diagnostics Solutions”. Professor Julian Sternman (Necker Hospital, France) will present research findings on the clinical values ​​of two AI diagnostic solutions: BiometryAssist™ which measures fetal growth and condition and HeartAssist™ which improves workflow when diagnosing a fetal heart.

Professor Antonia Testa (Scientific Director of the Center for Ultrasound in Gynecological Oncology “Class Ultrasound” at Agostino Gemelli University Hospital, Rome, Italy) will present her experience with SonoSync™, a real-time ultrasound image-sharing solution during the Samsung Symposium. The simplicity and benefits of sharing photos as a second opinion with remote access to the HERA W10 system at Gemelli Hospital in Rome from the ISUOG site in London will be demonstrated.

Regarding the name, the letter “V” in “V7” stands for “Versatile”, which means that this system can be used in various medical fields such as obstetrics, gynecology, radiology, orthopedics, cardiology, among others. V7 hosts the features and solutions seen in premium ultrasound systems.

The diagnostic solutions offered with the V8 and V7 are the same, but there are some differences in image resolution.
