This slides retractable too

Samsung gave us a look at a tantalizing concept for mobile devices, Flexible Hybrid. As the model above shows, the left side of the Flex Hybrid can be folded, like Galaxy Foldwhile the right side can slide out to expand itself.

The concept comes from Samsung Display, not the mobile arm of the South Korean giant responsible for manufacturing and selling phones. But the press release The concept show promised will bring to CES “innovative OLED products of all sizes, small, medium and large, to provide a glimpse into the future of displays.” Samsung isn’t the only company changing the future of phones – see TCL’s 2020 display — so watch this space for more flipping, folding, and scrolling devices.

3D laptop (without glasses)

The OLED screen is important because the technology promises a clearer 3D display. Aimed at creatives, the Asus 3D Pad uses eye tracking to produce a 3D experience.

Plus, GeForce Now is coming to… cars. If your car has a screen on the dashboard, you can play while the car is parked in a parking lot. If there are screens behind the driver’s or passenger’s seats, those sitting in the back can play on the go. For starters, Nvidia has partnered with Hyundai, BYB, and Polestar.
